TIK Properties LLC is a family-owned real estate brokerage, investment, and full-service property-management company serving owners and investors in Iowa and Wisconsin.
Founded in 2015 by Izabela and Tomasz Korwel, TIK Properties combines licensed brokerage services, direct rental-property ownership, professional management systems, maintenance coordination, and condominium-association governance experience.
TIK Properties currently manages 21 residential doors across company-owned and client-owned properties. Our portfolio includes single-family homes, apartments, duplexes, townhomes, and condominiums.
Our Company
TIK Properties was founded on firsthand experience as rental-property owners. Izabela and Tomasz began their investment journey in 2015 after retaining their first condominium as a rental property. What began as a single self-managed unit grew into a residential investment and management business built on practical experience in leasing, tenant relations, maintenance, renovations, turnover coordination, vendor management, and long-term property stewardship.
Today, TIK Properties is a licensed real estate brokerage and property-management company operating in both Iowa and Wisconsin. We manage 21 residential doors, including company-owned and client-owned properties, and provide full-service support for owners who want organized, responsive, and accountable management.
We use Buildium to support efficient property-management operations, including resident communication, rent collection, leasing, maintenance tracking, financial records, and owner reporting.
Company History
2015 – TIK Properties LLC was founded by Izabela and Tomasz Korwel. The company began with the purchase and self-management of its first condominium rental property.
2015–Present
TIK Properties expanded through residential acquisitions, leasing, property maintenance, renovations, tenant relations, vendor coordination, and day-to-day rental operations.
2017–Present
Tomasz Korwel has served in leadership roles for homeowners’ and condominium associations, including president, vice president, and treasurer. This experience includes board governance, financial oversight, budgeting, maintenance planning, vendor coordination, owner communication, and compliance.
2019
Izabela and Tomasz became licensed real estate salespersons in Iowa.
2021
Izabela and Tomasz became licensed real estate salespersons in Wisconsin.
2023
Tomasz Korwel established Himalia, LLC, a Wisconsin licensed dwelling-contractor business, to support maintenance, repairs, renovations, and property-improvement projects.
2024
Izabela Korwel earned her Wisconsin real estate broker license. TIK Properties expanded its third-party property-management operations in Wisconsin.
2025
Tomasz Korwel earned his Iowa real estate broker license.
Today
TIK Properties operates as a licensed real estate brokerage and property-management company in Iowa and Wisconsin. The firm currently manages over 20 residential doors, including both company-owned and client-owned properties.

Izabela Korwel – Co-Founder, Wisconsin Real Estate Broker
Izabela Korwel is a co-founder of TIK Properties LLC and a Wisconsin-licensed real estate broker. Since founding the company in 2015, she has helped lead its brokerage, investor relations, leasing, client communication, and property-management functions.
Izabela brings more than a decade of direct rental-property ownership and management experience. Her work includes investment-property acquisition, rental positioning, leasing, tenant communication, client relations, and investor education.
She approaches each property with an owner’s mindset: clear communication, organized systems, attention to detail, and a focus on protecting the client’s long-term investment.
Tomasz Korwel – Co-Founder, Iowa Real Estate Broker | Wisconsin Licensed Dwelling Contractor
Tomasz Korwel is a co-founder of TIK Properties LLC, an Iowa-licensed real estate broker, and the owner of Himalia, LLC, a Wisconsin licensed dwelling-contractor business.
He oversees property-management operations, maintenance planning, repair coordination, vendor relationships, turnover execution, and property-improvement projects. Through Himalia, LLC, Tomasz can personally perform qualifying maintenance, repair, renovation, and improvement work, while also coordinating trusted vendors and contractors when specialized work is required.
Tomasz also brings direct condominium and homeowners-association leadership experience. He has served as association president, vice president, and treasurer, with responsibilities involving financial oversight, budgeting, board communication, maintenance planning, vendor management, and governance.

Our leadership team understands association management from both the management and board perspective. Tomasz’s experience serving as a condominium and homeowners-association president, vice president, and treasurer provides TIK Properties with firsthand knowledge of the responsibilities boards face when making decisions about budgets, maintenance priorities, vendors, owner communication, and long-term planning.
